Cardboard boat

Today I was learning what a bowsprit is. The bowsprit is a long wooden beam that sticks out the front of some boats. It gives the boat an anchor point for the forestays, the rope that supports a boats foremast.
i found it tricky to fold the hull into the right shape.
Next time I would add lights.

  1. Hi Willie I love your boat. There is so much detail. You put a lot of time into creating your sailing vessel. I love how you researched the name of the bowsprit. Well done!

  2. Annyeonghaseyo Willie,
This is another amazing cardboard creation. I learnt what a bowsprit is and a forestay. How did you learn these things? What type of glue did you use? Was there a plan to follow to make this boat?

    1. Annyeonghaseyo Mrs Naden,
Thank you. We researched what a bowsprit is and a forestay on Google. I used hot glue. It was my own design.
