Pattern Ball - P.E.

Last week we were learning how to do pattern ball.
Cameron past to Sione, Sione past to Kharn, Kharn past to me, I past to Logan, Logan past to Sam, Sam past to Charlie M, Charlie M past to Cameron and the pattern carried on.
You weren't allowed to pass it to the person beside you, you weren't allowed to touch it twice, you always have to catch from the same person and pass it to the same person.
Ball 1 was a basketball and you had to throw it up high, ball 2 was a soccer ball and you had to bounce it, ball 3 was a rugby ball and you had to throw it through the middle.

gravity

Today we were learning about gravity, gravity is something that holds all the loose objects to the ground.
I found it easy to watch the video.
I found it hard to think of facts to write.
My digital learning object shows that I can publish my writing on to my blog.

If we jump why don't we float up into space?
Without the force of gravity there would be no life on earth there would be no air no animals no no trees nothing everything would just float up into space and just float around. If you throw a ball up it will come down if you throw a ball to the left it will stay up in the air longer but it'll eventually fall to the ground. Gravity keeps any unsupported objects from floating up into space. Everything that goes up must come down. It doesn't matter how heavy the object is because it's still going down.Gravity's like super glue holding the earth together just you can't see it, but it's always there.

Trinity Sunday

Today were learning about Trinity Sunday. Trinity means three-in-one. the father the son and the holy spirit.

The skin is like God. He protects us like skin predicts the Apple.
The flesh is like Jesus. he nourishes us.
The seeds are like the holy spirit planting the fruit of the Holy Spirit.🍎
I found it tricky to write the tricky words.
I found a easy to draw the apple.

Today we were doing May student reflection newsletter.
I found it tricky to remember how many points my group got, because I couldn't remember, so I just took a guess.
I found it easy to think of a reader.

bling your blog

Today I was learning how to bling my blog.
I found it easy to take a picture of my artwork and put it on my blogs background.

Homophones

Today I was learning what a homophone is.

I found it easy to do the worksheet in my book.

It was hard to remember how to write them.

There - over there.

They're - is short for they are. Kim likes eggs only when they're hard boiled.

Their - belongs to someone. Their house is almost 100 years old.

Pentecost

The disciples met in a room and felt a strong wind.

Flame started to form on their heads. A crowd gathered and the disciples could speak all the different languages. The disciples told everyone about Gods' words.

Today we were learning about Pentecost.
I found it easy to cut the pieces of paper to make the bird and if you turn it upside down it is a flame.
I found it tricky to trace the coloured paper out on the birds wings.

If you turn the picture of the flame around, it becomes a dove. They represent the Holy Spirit.

Torch Challenge

WALT to make a close Circuit.
My group found it easy to make the light glow with three wires.
My group found it tricky to make the bulb glow with 6 wires and two batteries and some tin foil and some electrical tape and some cardboard.
Next time we would research how to make the bulb glow with 6 wires and two batteries in some tin foil and some electric tape and some cardboard.
